Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital is seeking a Referral Representative to manage insurance pre-authorization for office visits and testing. You will gather patient details, verify coverage, and coordinate with health plans while documenting progress in EMR systems to support patient needs.

Strong attention to detail, proficiency with MS Word/Outlook/Excel/OneNote, and EPIC experience are valued. Flexible remote options with onsite interviews as needed and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Administrative departmental support, including processing referrals and documenting patient information in EMR systems.
• Route inbound referrals following department rules and Intermountain standards.
• Coordinate with patients, clinics, and insurance to obtain prior authorizations and provide cost estimates.
• Communicate with insurance representatives to obtain approvals and advocate for the patient.
• Collaborate with staff across departments for pre-registration and pre-visit prep, including denial/appeal documentation.
• Utilize various insurance platforms and EMR systems for data entry and reporting.
• Meet performance and volume metrics aligned with mission and values.
