Concentra, Inc is seeking a Remote Texas-based Referral Coordinator to manage referral requests and authorizations, coordinating with physicians, employers and payors. The role emphasizes patient experience, accuracy, and timely processing within Concentra policies.

Responsibilities include processing referrals, obtaining authorizations, and scheduling appointments while maintaining documentation and compliance. Must be a Texas resident and willing to travel for orientation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from an accredited college preferred.
• 1+ year of demonstrated experience in medical environment - service delivery (referrals, claims, insurance, billing).
• Proficiency with scheduling/insurance verification software.

Responsibilities

• First point of escalation for all case-related issues.
• Complete daily processing of patient referrals and meet production targets.
• Process specialist referrals and obtain authorizations.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with payors and providers.
• Maintain accurate information in OA/CR module per policy.
• Build and maintain relationships with providers, employers and payors.
