• Route inbound referrals per regulatory requirements and document appropriately.
• Coordinate details for upcoming visits and pre-authorization with providers; generate cost estimates and direct patients to financial counseling.
• Contact insurance representatives to ensure prior approval; advocate for patient to secure needed services promptly.
• Collaborate with Patient Service Representatives, Clinical Staff, and Payer Relations; manage denial or appeal documentation.
• Use various insurance platforms and medical records systems for data entry and reporting.
• Meet performance standards and align with mission and values.
