Job summary

NORY is seeking a part-time Recruitment Specialist to own full-cycle recruiting for a remote, contractor role. You will partner with managers across operations, curriculum, marketing, and more to fill priority openings.

You will source passive candidates, run first-round screens, manage applications in Ashby, and maintain a warm bench for future roles. This is a 10–20 hour/week contract with a fully remote arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, in-house or agency.
• Proven ability to write outreach that gets replies with real examples.
• Familiar with ATS (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Organized to the point nothing falls through the cracks; data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Source passive candidates and write tailored outreach to convert them into applicants.
• Manage inbound applications across LinkedIn, Indeed, and Ashby; keep candidates moving within 48 hours.
• Run first-round screens (phone/video) using our structured rubric.
• Track recruiting metrics weekly: applicants by source, time-to-screen, pass-through rates by stage.
• Coordinate scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
