Job summary

Crisis Connections in Washington state is seeking a Washington Recovery Help Line Specialist to support and respond to calls, emails, and texts. You will identify resources for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges and perform follow-ups to ensure connections to services.

The role emphasizes timely callbacks, accurate logging, and professional communication, with remote work available for residents of WA and 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor of Art in social or human sciences and/or two years working in addiction treatment settings.
• Experience working in a call center or conducting telephone assessments as a staff member or volunteer.
• Substance Use Disorder Professional or Trainee is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages from individuals seeking information about recovery-related resources.
• Provides accurate information on WA State resources for substance use, gambling, and mental health.
• Performs quality assurance screening and facilitates warm transfers to other providers.
• Completes call logging and QA accurately and in a timely manner.
