Job summary

Bicycle Health is seeking a Remote Recovery Coach to support individuals with opioid use disorder through peer-based coaching and program navigation. This full-time role emphasizes engagement, documentation in the electronic health record, and collaboration with medical providers to support treatment goals.

Responsibilities include one-on-one coaching, facilitating peer groups, tracking progress, and helping clients access resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as a peer recovery coach, peer support worker or addiction counselor.
• Experience in medical or behavioral health setting with EHR documentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates cultural awareness and responsiveness.
• Understanding of client confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to maintain emotional well-being while handling complex cases.
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Travel up to 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a contact point between established clients and the Bicycle Health program.
• Offer peer-based support through one-on-one coaching and facilitation of peer support groups.
• Document within the EHR in real-time during client visits and ensure medical-grade documentation.
• Utilize patient management tools to track progress and maintain engagement between medical visits.
• Engage clients in conversations about substance use, treatment, and recovery.
• Identify barriers to participation and communicate with clinical teammates to address them.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing consistently in client interactions.
• Maintain close communication with medical providers and support staff.
• Attend and contribute to all assigned meetings.
• Support program quality improvement metrics and ensure reliable attendance.
