Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS) certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Personal lived experience in substance use and recovery with a strong understanding of the recovery process.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with diverse individuals; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with empathy to support recovery and engagement.
• Provide one-on-one peer support and coaching, guiding treatment options and resources.
• Develop WRAP plans with clients and conduct weekly outreach to support goal achievement and address barriers.
• Coordinate with ARCA providers to identify missed appointments and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate clients and families about opioid use Disorder and available resources; advocate for client needs.
