Executive Staff Recruiters / ESR Healthcare seeks a Simulation Expert to create real-to-sim 3D environments and assets for remote projects. You will build and configure assets across simulation platforms, translate real objects into accurate virtual representations, and validate fidelity with scientists and engineers.

Collaborating to fine-tune physics, collision, and material properties, you’ll troubleshoot discrepancies to ensure reliable, high-fidelity simulations for research and development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with robotics/physics simulation platforms such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Unity, Unreal or PyBullet.
• Background in 3D modeling, CAD, or environment design.
• Understanding of physics simulation and material properties.

Simulation Expert — Real-to-Sim 3D Environments & Assets

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and configure 3D assets and environments in simulation platforms (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, or similar)
• Translate real-world objects and instruments into simulation, matching geometry, scale, material, and physical behavior
• Collaborate with scientists and subject-matter experts to validate accuracy of simulated environments
• Tune physical parameters (mass, friction, collision properties, joint dynamics) so simulated objects behave like their real counterparts
• Troubleshoot discrepancies between simulated and real-world behavior

Qualifications:

• Hands‑on experience with at least one robotics/physics simulation platform (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Unity, Unreal, PyBullet, etc.)
• Background in 3D modeling, CAD, or environment design
• Understanding of physics simulation (rigid body dynamics, materials, sensors)
• Strong collaboration skills working with scientific/technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail in matching real-world fidelity
