Job summary

Conifer-Realt is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support the Legal Department in development, financing, and corporate transactions. You will coordinate closings, manage due diligence, and draft and review closing documents under counsel supervision.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of paralegal experience in real estate, strong project management, and proficiency with title and survey matters, AIA documents, and MS Office. Notary Public status preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of paralegal experience in real estate development, transactions, or finance.
  • Experience with title and survey review and management of closings.
  • Proficiency with AIA Contract Documents software.
  • Strong MS Office skills and document management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate due diligence, acquisitions, dispositions and financings from inception through completion.
  • Review and organize due diligence materials, including title commitments, surveys, organizational documents, and zoning reports.
  • Draft and review closing documents, affidavits, resolutions, and related materials under supervision of counsel.
  • Maintain closing checklists, track milestones, and archive post-closing documentation.
  • Coordinate execution of contracts and track insurance certificates, bonds, and other required documentation.
