Job summary

Locate is a technology-enabled brokerage for the retail industry seeking a Transaction Manager to support our national client base. You will own a defined book of existing client accounts, manage site selection through lease execution, and direct outside brokers and landlords.

Ideal candidate has 1+ years in transaction management or similar, an active real estate license, and experience negotiating lease terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years in transaction management, brokerage coordination, lease administration, or similar field.
• Experience negotiating real estate deal terms.
• Experience in financial analysis of lease terms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CoStar.

Responsibilities

• Organize, manage, deliver, and report on transaction activity for an assigned book of client accounts.
• Manage site selection and lease negotiation from initial requirement through execution.
• Direct field brokers to ensure outcomes and deliverables, with clear requirements and timelines.
• Negotiate lease terms with landlords and their agents through to signed agreements.
• Maintain accurate deal records, notes, and critical dates in Locate's systems.
• Prepare and present lease economics and recommendations to clients.
• Coordinate with internal team members and other service lines supporting the account.
