SouthState Bank is seeking a Consumer Loan Closing Support Specialist to provide essential operations support across the real estate loan closing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely funding. Qualifications

High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
1–3 years’ experience with consumer real estate loans.
Experience in loan processing/closing preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Build rapport with lenders and customers and gather details.
Provide exceptional internal customer service and borrower experience.
Multitask in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.
Respond to requests within SLAs and resolve questions on closing.
Document identity information and escalate when needed.
Prioritize requests, escalate appropriately, and track progress.
Flag trends to management and be flexible for other duties.
