Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is seeking an Underwriting Audit Supervisor to oversee the underwriting audit program, ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations, and drive continuous improvement across the underwriting function.

You will lead audit staff, develop plans, analyze findings, and present recommendations to senior leadership, while partnering with Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and Executive teams to optimize processes and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• 7–10 years of commercial underwriting or underwriting compliance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• CPCU / AU / AINS / ARM or other related designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting audit program and contribute to annual audit plans and methodologies.
• Evaluate underwriting files for compliance with guidelines, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
• Develop executive-level audit reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership.
• Lead corrective action initiatives with underwriting management and verify remediation completion.
• Mentor audit staff and develop training materials to improve underwriting quality and consistency.
