Varnish Software is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help customers modernize their delivery pipelines, focusing on platform engineering and software supply chain security. You will become the go-to technical expert on Varnish tools and collaborate with the sales team on demos, workshops, and architecture fit.

This role involves significant travel and a hybrid/remote setup across the United States, including major markets, with opportunities to influence technical decisions and work alongside

Qualificações

• Technical background with 3–5 years in software engineering, DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• Strong Linux background.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tooling.
• Solid understanding of software supply chain security concepts.
• Previous customer-facing technical role experience (Solutions Engineering, TAM, Pre-Sales, etc.).
• Strong communication skills for demos, workshops, and architecture discussions.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Fluent written and spoken English; authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with customers on modernizing delivery pipelines with platform engineering and supply chain security.
• Become the go-to technical expert on Virtual Registry, Artifact Firewall, and related products.
• Collaborate with sales on discovery, demos, workshops, POCs and architecture fit.
• Increase win rate in technically complex deals.
• Deliver custom implementations including onboarding, monitoring, and high availability.
• Travel frequently to meet customers, with flexibility for location and project needs.
• Work with engineering to meet new requirements and influence architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers in Europe and the US.
