Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems on-site in Raleigh, NC. You will repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access equipment while coordinating with police and fire departments as needed.

You will be set up with the tools to work independently from a remote location, and provide customers with practical solutions to improve facility efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and inspecting/servicing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access, CCTV, and IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service customer security systems and alarms.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and Card Access equipment.
• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; test operation.
• Coordinate inspections and installations with police or fire departments.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency and upsell.
