Job summary

Bethany for Children & Families is seeking a School-Based Therapy Manager to supervise licensed therapists in our School-Based Therapy program, report to the Director of School-Based Services, and manage day-to-day operations in collaboration with Clinical Director.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely referrals, maintaining documentation, overseeing evaluations, treatment plans, and quality measures, and coordinating with school personnel to sustain partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; human services preferred.
• At least 3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• At least 2 years in mental health or related services.
• Experience with EMR systems required.
• Remote or multi-location work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, CMHC accreditation, and state regulations preferred.
• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure referrals are processed promptly upon receipt.
• Monitor productivity, referrals, service needs, and utilization by school.
• Maintain informed consent and release documents per policies.
• Oversee BHIS evaluations and timely completion per procedures.
• Ensure documentation: evaluations, treatment plans, crisis plans, notes, discharge summaries.
• Report on utilization, quality assurance, and outcomes data.
• Collaborate to apply evidence-based clinical interventions.
• Conduct chart reviews, address staff performance with corrective actions.
• Provide credentialing/contracting information timely.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
• Provide supervision to provisionally licensed staff toward licensure.
• Write and update policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Maintain relationships with funding/referral sources and school partners.
• Uphold ethical practices and integrity per compliance program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
