Ellie Mental Health—Clarkston is a private practice delivering in-person and telehealth care across Michigan. We seek a Michigan LLMSW to join a collaborative team, providing intake, treatment planning, and psychotherapy, with strong supervision and growth opportunities in a compassionate, authentic environment.

The role offers a W-2 commission model with benefits and a caseload development plan, requiring at least 25 direct client hours weekly plus scheduling support, with some evening

Qualifications

• Current Michigan LLMSW license in good standing.
• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE‑accredited program.
• Eligibility to practice clinical social work under appropriate Michigan supervision.
• Commitment to supervision toward LMSW licensure.
• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy, risk assessment, and clinical documentation.
• Ability to complete documentation within practice and payer timelines.
• Willingness to build and maintain caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependability, organization, initiative, professional boundaries, follow‑through.
• Ability to serve diverse clients within scope of practice.
• Proficiency with electronic health records; Valant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health intake assessments and establish diagnoses within LLMSW scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence‑based psychotherapy.
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, risk documentation, diagnostic updates, and other required records accurately and on time.
• Submit documentation promptly for supervisory review and co‑signature.
• Attend required clinical supervision and maintain supervision records.
• Maintain consistent scheduling availability and follow up after cancellations.
• Respond promptly to new referrals.
• Support client engagement, retention, continuity of care, and discharge planning.
• Participate in consultation, staff meetings, training, and quality‑improvement activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, colleagues, billing staff, and referral partners.
• Participate in approved caseload‑development and community outreach activities.
