Job summary

Ellie Mental Health–Clarkston is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for a full‑time, W‑2 commission‑based position in Michigan. The clinician supports in‑person and telehealth care with administrative assistance and a strong team culture focused on authenticity and growth.

The role emphasizes developing a robust caseload, collaborative work, and maintaining high-quality documentation, scheduling, and outreach activities. Evening availability is valued for families and youth.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Michigan LMSW license in good standing with Clinical designation; limited licensure does not qualify.
• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE‑accredited program.
• Experience with outpatient psychotherapy, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, and documentation.
• Ability to complete accurate documentation within practice timelines.
• Willingness to take an active role in building and maintaining a caseload.
• Strong communication, organization, initiative, professional boundaries, dependability, and follow‑through.
• Ability to serve diverse clients competently within scope of practice.
• Proficiency with EHR and office technology; Valant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health intake assessments and establish diagnoses within scope.
• Develop treatment plans and provide evidence‑based psychotherapy.
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, risk documentation, and other records accurately and on time.
• Maintain scheduling consistency and follow up after cancellations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to referrals.
• Participate in consultation, staff meetings, and quality‑improvement activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, colleagues, billing staff, and referral partners.
• Participate actively in caseload development and community outreach.
