Job summary

CAA ICON is seeking a Project Field Manager to provide full-time onsite representation in Houston, TX. The role involves coordinating with the Project Director, managing contract activities, and ensuring alignment with the project schedule.

Occasional telecommuting with North American stakeholders is anticipated. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in construction or related services, a relevant degree (BS preferred; AS with experience accepted), and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree.
• AS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience accepted.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 Schedule and Microsoft Project.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to shift communication styles based on audience with a solutions-oriented vernacular.
• Strong problem-solving skill set.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite representation for the project team.
• Report directly to the Project Director.
• Manage onsite activities of assigned contracts (Environmental, Geotechnical, Survey, and Construction Materials Testing).
• Provide onsite monitoring of the Project Schedule and progress.
• Review material testing reports and data; present deficiencies to the Project Director.
• Track RFIs, Submittals, and procurement logs to align with the project schedule.
• Review changes for cost, schedule impact, and entitlement; advise on actions.
• Attend project meetings (Design Coordination, RFI Review, Submittal Review, etc.).
• Assist with providing materials for monthly reports and project closeout activities.
