Job summary

UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking an Instructional Designer to translate needs into behaviorally based learning products for online, blended, and face-to-face courses. You will design processes, content, and materials to enable learners, instructors, and coaches to achieve outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience; a Master’s in instructional design or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Masters degree in instructional design, learning technologies, curriculum instruction, education, or related field and four (4) years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage course revisions with development team including chairs, SMEs, librarians, and media designers.
• Create and revise curriculum following sound instructional design principles.
• Assist faculty with curricular challenges and troubleshooting.
• Lead design meetings with faculty and practitioners.
• Support faculty in program review, assessment, and improvement processes.
• Determine appropriate instructional strategies and delivery technologies to meet objectives.
• Assess constraints and select media/technologies to deliver learning.
• Define learning outcomes and create course assessments.
• Act as lead designer and project manager for end-to-end development of projects.
• Ensure course materials meet accessibility and copyright standards.
