Job summary

South Carolina Connections Academy seeks certified Elementary Teachers to manage online instructional programs from home or Columbia, SC. You will collaborate with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of the instructional program and coordinate with parents and other teachers.

Duties include grading, progress reports, parent conferences, creating Personal Learning Plans, and supporting students with enrichment activities, test administration, and recruitment events.

Qualifications

• SC certification for Early Childhood or Elementary required.
• Strong tech skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support asynchronous and synchronous instructional sessions.
• Complete grading, generate progress reports and conduct parent conferences.
• Communicate with parents, students and teachers to update Personal Learning Plans.
• Develop knowledge of the K–12 curriculum and grade levels.
• Assist students and families with enrichment activities and daily assignments.
• Maintain up-to-date student records and attendance logs.
• Collaborate with team members to create engaging enrichment and modifications.
• Contribute to school community and participate in testing and recruitment events.
