Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Elementary School (K-5) teaching credential for South Carolina.
• Residency in South Carolina is required to qualify.
• Gifted and Talented endorsement is a desirable qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction online, including asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous sessions.
• Complete grading, progress reports, and parent conferences promptly.
• Communicate with parents, students, and colleagues to develop Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of the K‑12 curriculum and the specific grades taught.
• Provide additional strategies and assistance with daily assignments and projects.
• Maintain student records including attendance and contact information.
• Collaborate with team members and learning specialists on enrichment and modifications.
• Support building a sense of school community through virtual methods.
• Participate in state testing and related activities as directed.
• Represent the school in student recruiting and marketing efforts.
• Attend community activities and family-focused events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
