Job summary

Truvista Fiber seeks a Retail Customer Care Representative to serve as the primary contact for customer sales support from our retail center, with options for remote work. You will handle bill payments, billing inquiries, service changes, and promotions while delivering world-class service.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and secure handling of financial transactions using Truvista’s systems. Some travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Industry experience and sales experience are preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, as travel to other retail locations may be required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• To qualify for Work from Home, applicant must meet WFH requirements; equipment provided by Truvista.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and friendly customer service to retail customers visiting the store.
• Process cash and check payments for bills and deposits following policy.
• Edit and post adjustments and corrections to customer billing or services ordered.
• Perform day-to-day retail operations including inventory, displays and store cleanliness.
• Recommend speed upgrades, add-on services and features to existing customers.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints, technical issues, and billing disputes, aiming for first-call resolution.
• Fill out contract forms, determine charges for services, handle address changes and discontinue orders.
• Investigate conditions preventing service connection orders and resolve them.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Answer inbound customer service calls when not assisting in-store customers.
