Job summary

Jobot in the San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Monica seeks associates with 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join our team. The role offers exposure to federal and state matters and a pathway to first- and second-chair opportunities.

Salary is $180,000 to $240,000 per year, with significant bonus potential and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, MCLE reimbursements, and a discretionary 401K match. Some remote work is planned.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience is required.
• Strong writing and analytical abilities are essential.
• Experience with depositions and in court is preferred.
• Experience managing complex discovery and ESI is a plus.
• Prior federal clerkship is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first- or second-chair on a variety of matters at different stages of litigation.
• Lead pre-filing investigations, client intake, and drafting of complaints.
• Handle law and motion, written discovery, and depositions.
• Support trial preparation, bench and jury trials, and appeals.
• Collaborate with teams across the firm to advance cases.
