Job summary

Raydar seeks a backend-focused Full-Stack Engineer to architect data models, APIs, and services for a finance/ERP platform. You’ll own greenfield work from design to deployment, expanding from inventory and supply-chain to financial reporting.

You’ll design invoicing and payment data models, build client APIs, and balance OLAP/OLTP. Hybrid role with US-wide candidates, ideally West Coast, and quarterly San Diego on-sites.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of backend or full-stack experience with production systems.
• Experience with ERP, fintech, or accounting software domains is a plus.
• Strong data modeling and schema design skills for financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design data models for invoicing, payments, P&L reporting and finance workflows.
• Build client-facing APIs connecting platform to HR, payroll, and accounting systems.
• Architect Python/FastAPI backends with PostgreSQL; balance OLAP vs OLTP.
• Aggregate data from labor, subscriptions, and finance inputs for reporting.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and iteration.
• Contribute to React frontend when needed while leading backend work.
