Job summary

New Era Technology is hiring an AV Field Engineer to install, commission, and tune professional AV systems in large venues. You’ll work with engineering to configure controls, DSP files, and concert-hall level acoustics, while documenting assets and supporting project teams.

The role requires hands-on fabrication, installation, and testing, with travel up to 20% and a focus on client training and service excellence. CTS/CTS-I certification preferred; OSHA may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CTS or CTS-I certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and complete AV and multimedia systems per standards.
• Fabrication, installation, control and DSP configuration for large venues.
• Configure DSP files and tune audio systems for stadiums and arenas.
• Document equipment data, maintain inventory, and provide detailed reports.
• Train clients on AV systems and support project deadlines.
