Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island facility seeks an Associate Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support complex automation initiatives in process control and GMP utilities. You will provide technical leadership for DeltaV-based systems, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to lifecycle management and operational excellence.

The role requires a technical degree and hands-on automation experience in manufacturing, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related area is required.
• Experience in process automation engineering within pharma/biotech.
• Familiarity with DeltaV DCS, batch control, and validation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation engineering support for process control and utilities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, process engineering, and QA across projects.
• Lead or support commissioning, qualification, and change-control activities.
• Offer 24x7 on-call technical support for automation systems.
