Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, or a closely related field.
• Reading intervention certification or endorsement (e.g., Arizona Reading Specialist K-12 or equivalent state certification)
• Specialized training or certification in dyslexia intervention (or related structured literacy approaches)
• At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group or one-on-one reading interventions for students in grades 3-8
• Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties
• Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and use it to plan and adjust instruction
• Strong ability to engage and manage students in a virtual setting through clear, motivating communication
• Available to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver virtual one-on-one and small-group reading interventions for students in grades 3-8
• Analyze reading assessment data to identify gaps in fluency and comprehension, then adapt instruction in real time
• Differentiate instruction across varying reading levels, with targeted support for dyslexia and similar reading challenges
• Monitor student progress with consistency and clarity, using that data to shape upcoming sessions
• Facilitate structured motivational check-ins that foster confidence, resilience, and pride in measurable growth
