Job summary

Missouri Connections Academy seeks a Math Interventionist to deliver targeted virtual interventions from your home office, focusing on number sense, operations, fractions, and problem solving to boost foundational math skills.

You will use diagnostic assessments, set individualized goals, monitor progress, maintain records, and collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to align intervention with core instruction and drive math achievement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group and one-on-one virtual intervention sessions focused on core math skills.
• Use diagnostic assessments and data to identify student learning needs.
• Develop individualized goals and provide ongoing progress monitoring.
• Collect and analyze student performance data to track growth and adjust instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions, goals, and outcomes.
• Incorporate digital tools (IXL, online manipulatives, interactive boards) to reinforce skills.
• Partner with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to align intervention strategies.
• Actively participate in data meetings and GLTs to analyze student performance and determine next steps.
• Communicate with families regarding student progress and provide resources for continued support at home.
• Share progress updates with administrators and contribute to schoolwide math achievement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned;
