Job summary

The N2 Company is hiring a Readership Engagement Specialist to connect with readers, identify compelling stories, and feed the content team with actionable leads. This fully remote role reports to the Director of Content Operations and involves warm calls, story idea generation, and coordinating with local businesses for features.

You’ll keep records up to date and ensure smooth handoffs to production teams.

Qualifications

• Lead warm introductory calls and build reader trust.
• Identify promising stories and tailor involvement based on reader interests.
• Capture future story ideas and facilitate introductions to readers.
• Ask readers to suggest local businesses for features and relay details to the team.
• End calls with clear next steps and managed expectations.
• Provide clear handoff notes to production teams.
• Maintain up-to-date reader records in monday.com and vet AI-generated notes.

Responsibilities

• Lead introductory calls (10–15 min) with readers.
• Identify and propose story ideas and formats.
• Capture reader preferences and connect with production teams.
• Encourage reader introductions to others for stories.
• Request local business recommendations for features.
• Close calls with agreed next steps and follow-ups.
• Update records and review AI notes for accuracy.
