Job summary

Injective Labs is assembling a junior to mid‑level React Native engineer to help build the next generation of DeFi trading apps. You’ll work on our mobile app, collaborating with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver fast, reliable experiences across iOS and Android.

The role emphasizes strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, ownership of features, and a passion for excellent user experiences in decentralized finance. Remote-friendly with flexible hours and a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms and best practices.
• Experience integrating applications with backend APIs.
• Experience with Node.js and REST APIs.
• Experience with gRPC and/or SSE is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and clean code principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve features for the React Native mobile application.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and well‑tested mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability on iOS and Android.
• Monitor and triage issues reported through Linear, investigate bugs, and prioritize fixes.
• Take ownership of reported issues and deliver reliable fixes for a stable mobile experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Stay up to date with modern mobile development practices and emerging technologies.
