Job summary

Injective, a leading DeFi platform, is seeking a junior to mid-level React Native engineer to help build our next-generation mobile trading experience. You will work on our React Native app, collaborating with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver a fast, reliable, and intuitive mobile experience.

The role focuses on strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, a solid grasp of iOS/Android, and experience integrating with backend APIs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platforms and best practices.
• Experience integrating applications with backend APIs.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with gRPC and/or SSE is a strong plus.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean code principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve features for our React Native mobile application.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality UX.
• Build scalable, maintainable mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize performance, responsiveness, and reliability on iOS and Android.
• Monitor and triage issues via Linear, investigate and resolve bugs.
• Own reported issues and deliver reliable fixes for a stable experience.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Stay up to date with modern mobile development and technologies.
