Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver synchronous virtual visits focused on midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions. This independent contractor role requires MA licensure and a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly.

Dietitians provide one-on-one care via telehealth, participate in multi-week programs, and manage documentation. Compensation is per-visit, with no minimum visit guarantee, offering flexibility and affiliation with Pomelo’s nationwide

Qualifications

• National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or RD/RDN with license to practice in Massachusetts
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition therapy for conditions such as metabolic syndrome, weight management, osteopenia/osteoporosis, gut health (IBS, elimination diets), and plant-forward eating
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle changes
• Work with patients in multi-week programs to support symptom improvement and sustained behavior change
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Follow clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for Pomelo visits
