Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver expert virtual nutrition care during midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and guide patients through multi-week programs to improve symptoms and wellbeing.

This 1099 contractor role offers scheduling flexibility. Compensation is $60 per active visit hour, plus onboarding pay and bonuses for no-shows.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states are highly encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients navigating midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
