Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor- Claims to oversee QA and performance across charge posting and claims management for multiple practices. You will supervise internal and offshore teams, audit workflows, and standardize processes, using data-driven insights to ensure compliance with payer guidelines and HIPAA.

The role requires 3+ years in charge posting or claims, strong CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in charge posting and/or claims submission and reconciliation.
• 1-2 years in a supervisory and/or QA-focused role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding and claims submission workflows.
• Proficiency with billing platforms, clearinghouses, and EHR/PMS systems (e.g., NextGen, Waystar).
• Detail oriented with professional attitude and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of charge posting and claims readiness teams across internal and offshore resources.
• Review and audit claims submissions, edits, clearinghouse rejections, and charge entry for quality, accuracy, and timely processing.
• Perform routine QA audits with a 10–15% sample rate and log errors (e.g., CPT/ICD-10 mismatches).
• Track, analyze, and report trends in errors, edits, and rejections; provide monthly QA summaries to leadership.
• Create dashboards with site-specific QA metrics using PowerBI and other tools.
• Coordinate with managers to address training issues and improve processes.
• Participate in weekly syncs to align QA findings with training and offshore coaching plans.
• Maintain and update QA SOPs and documentation aligned with current billing guidelines.
• Resolve complex or escalated claims and charge issues with proper documentation.
• Conduct training on billing protocols, entry standards, and regulatory updates.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and federal/state billing regulations.
