Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor- Claims to oversee QA for charge posting and claims management across practices. The role leads internal and offshore teams, audits submissions, and drives process improvements using data-driven insights and SOP adherence.

The candidate will require strong CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, regulatory savvy, and excellent communication to support accurate billing and compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in charge posting and/or claims submission and reconciliation
• 1–2 years in supervisory or QA-focused role
• Strong CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding knowledge
• Experience with NextGen and Waystar or similar billing/EHR systems
• Detail oriented with strong time management
• Analytical with root-cause analysis and coaching
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence
• Proficient in Excel; PowerPoint and reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily charge posting and claims production teams.
• Review and audit submissions for quality and timely processing.
• Conduct routine QA audits with 10–15% sample rate.
• Track and report trends; present QA metrics to leadership.
• Create dashboards using PowerBI for site-specific metrics.
• Coordinate with managers to address training gaps and improvements.
• Ensure SOPs and HIPAA/regulatory compliance are up to date.
• Provide training on billing protocols and updates.
• Resolve escalated claims issues with accurate documentation.
• Foster cross-functional communication and offshore coaching.
