Job summary

Facktor is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Consultant to support healthcare clients on a project basis as an independent contractor. Engagements include Medicare 519 wrap rate applications, RCM assessments, billing optimization, and revenue cycle enhancements.

Ideal candidates operate an independent practice, translate complex reimbursement rules into actionable deliverables, and autonomously manage projects from statement of work through delivery, with remote work allowed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; Master’s degree preferred; MBA ideal.
• Significant professional experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, reimbursement, billing, and healthcare finance.
• Direct experience preparing and submitting Medicare 519 wrap rate applications for FQHCs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FQHC Medicare reimbursement, including PPS and wrap payment methodologies.
• Experience with end-to-end revenue cycle processes and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Medicare 519 wrap rate applications and related documentation.
• Advise FQHC clients on Medicare reimbursement and billing requirements.
• Review and analyze claims, payments, denials, AR, and reimbursement trends.
• Assess revenue cycle workflows across registration, eligibility, coding, billing, submissions, denials, and collections.
• Develop practical recommendations to improve revenue capture and billing accuracy.
• Produce client-facing deliverables communicating findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with client finance, revenue cycle, operations, IT to gather information and advance objectives.
