Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a RCM Coding Education Specialist to develop and deliver provider-focused coding education, improve documentation, and optimize charge capture across the organization. You will interpret regulatory changes and collaborate with coding, compliance, and revenue cycle leaders.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of healthcare coding, charge capture, compliance, auditing, or provider education experience.
Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
Familiar with professional fee coding and E/M coding requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver provider coding and documentation education for physicians and APPs.
Interpret coding guideline changes, payer updates, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct coding and documentation reviews to identify education opportunities.
Collaborate with coding, compliance, revenue cycle, and operational leaders.
Provide one-on-one provider coaching and specialty-specific education.
Analyze audit results and denial patterns to improve performance.
Create educational materials and training programs for coding compliance.
