Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare RCM with prior authorization and eligibility.
• RCM experience supporting behavioral health services required.
• Understand payer timelines and submission processes.
• Experience with CPT codes and payer requirements.
• Experience with payer portals and denials/appeals.
• Experience with EHR or practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, submit, and track prior authorization requests.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to authorization submission.
• Monitor pending authorization requests and follow up through resolution.
• Document authorization numbers and related payer requirements.
• Manage concurrent reviews, renewals, and expiration dates.
• Coordinate with payer and internal teams to resolve barriers.
• Maintain accurate authorization records and reporting.
