Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a RCIS Crop Claims Specialist or Crop Claims Field Adjuster to join its RCIS team serving California. The role supports liability assessment, policy verification, and field investigations with strong travel within the territory.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 6+ months in agriculture or crop insurance, and obtain the CAPP certification within 180 days of hire. Remote opportunities within California available.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in agricultural or crop insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exercise judgement to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts.
• Exercise judgement to determine policy verification and coverage determination by analyzing applicable coverage for claims.
• Participates in Risk Management Agency reviews and referrals for operations integrity and quality assurance.
• Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential.
• Maintain professional knowledge by staying current with industry trends and participating in professional societies.
