Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager to support Minneapolis and surrounding areas, focusing on Alpha‑1. You will report to the Sr. Regional Business Director and drive patient starts, educate HCPs, and execute a compliant national sales strategy.

Ideal candidates have a clinical sales background with a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in healthcare. Expect up to ~50% travel, local duties, and a competitive compensation package in a regional market.

Qualifications

• Clinical sales background with a Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of demonstrated healthcare experience.
• Ability to manage a territory across borders.
• Experience with payor and reimbursement challenges.
• Strong data interpretation to create sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts and retention in infusion centers and hospitals.
• Educate HCPs on Takeda Alpha-1 therapies and related products.
• Build and execute a compliant national sales strategy and territory plan.
• Conduct calls, deliver presentations, and provide product information with demonstrations.
• Collaborate with home office, Marketing, and accounts teams for pull-through.
• Utilize MS Office and Takeda CRM; document activity and outcomes.
• Lead community education events for professionals and patients; occasional nights/weekends.
