Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager (Alpha-1) to support Minneapolis MN and Omaha NE regions. You will drive new patient starts, manage outpatient/hospital sales, and retain patients on alpha-1 therapy, while educating healthcare professionals about Takeda brands.

You will build a territory plan, work with home office and brand teams, and demonstrate data-driven strategies. Travel up to 50% and occasional weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Clinical sales background with a Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare experience.
• RDBM will live within territory and manage territory from Border-to-Border.
• Experience working with payor and reimbursement challenges.
• Ability to drive data-based sales strategies and HCP influence.
• Willingness for up to ~50% travel including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas through driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
• Educate and inform the HCPs on Takeda brands for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency; build the national sales and marketing strategy and territory plan.
• Deliver presentations, provide product information and demonstrations, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with home office, Marketing/Brand, and national/corporate accounts for pull-through.
• Use Microsoft applications and Takeda's CRM.
• Conduct community education events for healthcare professionals, patients, occasional nights/weekends.
• Promote Takeda culture through relationships.
