Job summary

Horizon3 AI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Rapid Response Attack Engineering team in the US. You will drive vulnerability research, AI-enabled automation, and product delivery at scale while mentoring a diverse team of engineers.

You will balance rapid delivery with secure, production-safe software practices, collaborating with Product Management and field teams to translate offensive research into a high-quality product offering.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of direct people management experience leading software engineers
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience hiring and interviewing engineers
• Experience partnering with Product Management, field teams, and customers
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Experience in a cybersecurity-related role (R&D, vulnerability research/analysis, or offensive security)
• Knowledge of vulnerability classes (e.g., remote code execution, authentication bypasses)
• Experience with AI harnesses and production software engineering
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud environments
• Travel up to 10% for remote company

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of Attack Engineers across multiple seniority levels, ensuring mentorship and growth paths
• Set technical direction for AI-native automation pipelines, vulnerability research, and the Rapid Response product
• Drive hiring and organizational scaling as the team expands
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and secure software development practices
• Lead daily triage and execution of CVEs and zero-days with rapid delivery
• Drive vision and engineering for AI-driven harnesses, LLM workflows, and automated pipelines
• Partner with Product Management and field teams to deliver a high-quality Rapid Response product
• Analyze real-world attack data to prioritize targets and measure impact
• Contribute to secure software development and production-safe practices
• Evaluate technical designs for high-quality, scalable software
