Qualifications

• Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS); ARRT certified as Radiologic Technologist
• Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist as required by state
• Experience - Five years of Diagnostic X-ray experience in a hospital/healthcare environment
• Education - Associate Degree Radiology from an accredited program

Responsibilities

• Applies advanced knowledge and skill to perform routine and difficult examinations by using independent judgment.
• Assists in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including QA/QC programs.
• Effectively triages patients to ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Maintains a strong understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.
