Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an Imaging Clinical Supervisor for a full-time day shift (4 x 10-hour shifts). The role includes leading imaging operations, ensuring quality, and coordinating policies and procedures within the radiology department.

Minimum qualifications include BLS, ARRT or equivalent certification, and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. MRI/CT certifications must be completed within stated timelines. Relocation/sign-on bonus eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support required at start.
• State licensure for Radiologic Technologist required.
• ARRT or equivalent imaging modality certification with CT or Mammography within 12 months.
• MRI certification required within 18 months of hire.

• Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures including QA/QC programs.
• Resolve physician complaints regarding clinical performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including but not limited to quality assurance/control programs.
• Resolves physician complaints regarding clinical performance.

• Demonstrates an understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.
• Demonstrates creativity in section operational skills, decision-making skills, and contingency planning preparation.
• Initiates and manages various projects with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification - Basic Life Support upon start; American Registered Radiologic Technologists Upon Start - Must be certified by at least one of the following: American Registered Radiologic Technologists or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CNT or Cardiovascular Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology or Registered Vascular Technology or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists; as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required. Certification in Computed Technology or Mammography required within 12 months of hire. Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required within 18 months of hire.
• Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start State Licensure required for all INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers, but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital and/or for Nuclear Medicine.
• Experience - Three years of imaging experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with experience in an applicable imaging modality.
• Education - Associate's Degree in Radiological Sciences or Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification.
