Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional fee coding, coding education, coding audit, or related experience.
• 3+ years direct Radiation Oncology coding experience.
• Experience educating physicians, advanced practice providers, coders, clinical staff, or business office staff.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer requirements.
• Project coordination experience and ability to manage multiple education requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding, documentation, billing, and reimbursement education with primary responsibility for Radiation Oncology.
• Develop and deliver education via sessions, group meetings, webinars, and guidance documents.
• Conduct ongoing medical record reviews to identify education needs and priority areas.
• Respond to coding questions within established turnaround times and explain guidance clearly.
• Create and maintain coding tools, tip sheets, and educational materials.
• Support onboarding and training for new providers and affiliated practices.
