Job summary

TRIARQ Health is seeking a Radiation Oncology Coder to ensure services are captured accurately from consultation through treatment delivery. This role requires expertise in CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and payer policies, with the ability to work remotely across the United States.

This position collaborates with the denials and authorizations teams to resolve coding issues, supports audits, and helps train new coders while maintaining high accuracy and timely charge capture in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT coding, NCCI, and Medicare coverage policy.
• Experience with radiation oncology coding or billing workflows preferred.
• Ability to work remotely across the U.S. and collaborate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Code radiation oncology services across the full course of treatment: consultation, planning, simulation, dosimetry and treatment delivery.
• Assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes to the highest level of specificity.
• Review and release held charges before claims go out, typically within three business days.
• Collaborate with the denials and authorization teams to resolve issues and ensure proper documentation.
