Job summary

ReveLution, LLC in the healthcare sector seeks a Medical Coder to review clinical documentation and assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes for oncology services. This role emphasizes coding quality, documentation, and timely submission of coded charges.

You will collaborate with providers and the billing team, ensure compliance with payer requirements, and support phone coverage for billing questions, while maintaining strong coding notes and meeting quality targets in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Current professional coding certification CPC/CCS or equivalent.
• At least two years of hands-on medical coding experience, preferably oncology.
• Experience applying Medicare, Medicaid or AHCCCS, and commercial payer coding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review physician and clinical documentation to assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes.
• Apply current coding guidelines, payer requirements, and specialty rules to supported services.
• Identify missing or unclear documentation and obtain clarification before coding.
• Enter or validate coded charges and prepare accurately coded claims for submission.
• Review and correct coding-related claim edits or rejections; escalate noncoding issues as needed.
• Maintain clear coding notes and meet quality/ turnaround targets across client workflows.
