Job summary

X-Bow Launch Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced R&D Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer (Advanced Development) to lead rapid-development prototype hardware design and testing for solid rocket motor projects.

Location: Hancock County, MS; Socorro, NM; potentially Remote. You will join a multidisciplinary team to derive requirements, perform trade studies, build and test SRM prototypes, and document results for the customer.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in design engineering focused on solid rocket motors or missiles.
• Proficient CAD, SolidWorks preferred, for mechanical design.
• Experience with structural analysis and documenting methods and results.
• Hands-on prototype fabrication, testing and data reporting.
• Experience with SRM hardware and energetic environments.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• US Person per ITAR.
