X-Bow Systems in Texas seeks a Chief Engineer for SRM program leadership. You will oversee design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing alignment for solid rocket motor components.

Collaborate across propulsion, materials, and structures to optimize performance, safety, and schedule. You will define ground-based tests, document results, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Formación

• 10-15 years of SRM design, analysis, and testing experience.
• Strong leadership to oversee complex engineering projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with mechanical design using SolidWorks CAD or similar.
• Familiarity with propulsion system integration and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication of technical information to diverse teams.
• Commitment to safety in all stages of design and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering team in design, analysis, and test of SRM components and systems to meet program objectives and milestones.
• Collaborate with propulsion, materials, and structural engineers for integrated design solutions.
• Collaborate with ballistics to optimize motor performance (thrust, burn rate, pressure).
• Define and perform ground-based testing of SRM prototypes and sub-assemblies.
• Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing techniques for motor production.
• Contribute to testing procedures and safety protocol development.
• Document design processes, results, and findings for stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends in solid propulsion technologies.
