Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of SRM design experience with preliminary analysis and testing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• US Persons as defined by ITAR; must be eligible for access to controlled information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and documenting design processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse teams to digest complex customer requirements.
• Mature preliminary SRM concept designs with Chief Engineers.
• Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing techniques for agile design.
• Perform Trade Studies and weigh down-select options.
• Organize and track Mass Growth Allowance (MGA).
• Document design processes, results, and findings for stakeholders.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions, testing procedures, and safety protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in solid propulsion technologies.
